From the Captain's Armchair Episode 14: The Undiscovered Country

 We are wrapping up the first season of From the Captain's Armchair with a bang! The good ship Armchair finds itself in the middle of a stand off between a Klingon bird of prey and the Enterprise. Tensions are present, but nothing severe seems to happen until the bird of prey is fired upon and sprays pink blood everywhere! The Armchair has to watch as the cold war between the Federation and the Klingon Empire could be stoked into a fire again! Join us as we sit down to discuss Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.

 "On the eve of retirement, Kirk and McCoy are charged with assassinating the Klingon High Chancellor and imprisoned. The Enterprise crew must help them escape to thwart a conspiracy aimed at sabotaging the last best hope for peace."

After the cataclysmic events of the Genesis project the good ship Armchair is in need of some dire repairs. We have limped our way back to space dock, but as soon as we get back we have to turn around and chase Admiral Kirk back to the Genesis Planet! Join us as we sit down to watch Star Trek III: The Search for Spock!

Well Armchair Adventurers, we've been stranded upon this planet with worms in our ears because someone from the Eugenics Wars put us here. This week we are watching Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan!

"With the assistance of the Enterprise crew, Admiral Kirk must stop an old nemesis, Khan Noonien Singh, from using the life-generating Genesis Device as the ultimate weapon."

From the Captain's Armchair Episode 11: The Trouble With Tribbles

As we take the good ship Armchair to the local space station we can't help but notice that gentle cooing noise. No, it's not Travis, but rather a strange furry animal that doesn't really...do anything. After doing some follow ups with the people of the station we discovered that,

"To protect a space station with a vital grain shipment, Kirk must deal with Federation bureaucrats, a Klingon battle cruiser and a peddler who sells furry, purring, hungry little creatures as pets."

Who knows if the good ship Armchair will make it out unscathed, but tune in today as we discuss The Trouble with Tribbles!

 We find the good ship Armchair circling around an adrift armchair classification starship. It probably has nothing to do with that gray bugle moving away from it, but lets check the ships log.

 " The USS Enterprise encounters the wrecked USS Constellation and its distraught captain who's determined to stop the giant planet-destroying robot ship that killed his crew."

 The good ship Armchair finds itself bombarded by cosmic rays giving us a glimpse into the Ottoman universe. Inside we find ourselves, but not ourselves, they're different...they don't have beards for one thing. This week we are sitting down to watch the Original Series episode Mirror Mirror!

 " A transporter accident places Capt. Kirk's landing party in an alternate universe, where the Federation is a barbarically brutal empire. "

 Things start getting warm on the good ship Armchair. Luckily we find ourselves orbiting Vulcan just in time to watch Kirk and Spock battle to the death!

 The good ship Armchair has floated past a planet with a mysterious crazy man that calls himself a doctor and a stone doorway. As we use our sensors to probe into the doorway we discover this.

 " When a temporarily insane Dr. McCoy accidentally changes history and destroys his time, Kirk and Spock follow him to prevent the disaster, but the price to do so is high."

The good ship Armchair has begun to orbit a planet flush with rich Corinthian leather, and people that have survived the Eugenics Wars of the 1990's on Earth. This week the Armchair Adventurers are watching Space Seed and taking a deep dive on the episode.

 The good ship Armchair has settled in between a zone where the alien life doesn't make itself known to us until the very last five minutes of our stay! While we're there we have to watch Captain Kirk and a Gorn captain fight it out on a planet laden with riches, but the aliens have told us thus.
